<description>Thank you for your interest in Savennières wines. It is always rewarding to read that someone has gone to so many research on our appellation. I am presently the general manager for Closel-Chateau des Vaults ( My mother Michèle de Jessey has retired in 2001) and the president of the appellation.

I would like to invite all professionnals and journalists to come to the Loire wine fair in Angers on february 2,3, 2009, at 11 am .Savennières will offer special tastings of all its producers. You will discover that there are come young winemakers who are extremely talented and make delicious , elegant and voluptuous Savennières. I let you discover them by yourself. We are a whole group having organic and partially biodynamic practices, and we make real terroir wines, whith character, personalities , that reflect the diversity of nature.

<description>Great post, Estelle. And thanks for the kind words you left at &lt;a href="http://mcduffwine.blogspot.com/2008/08/on-savennires-typicity.html" rel="nofollow"&gt;my recent piece on Savennières&lt;/a&gt;. I'd say it's a funny coincidence that we both quoted the same note from Friedrich but it's really such a remarkable writeup that I'm really not surprised.

Soulez's wines are available in the states, albeit intermittently. I still have a couple of '96's, bottles that I picked up at a shop in California many years ago, waiting in the cellar.</description>
